| I am an artist given to fits of fantasy, as you can see by the "Butterswan" on the right. I also paint tropical themes, drawn from my love of travel. Everyday life is an influence as well; one of my cats is posing proudly in front of a portrait I painted of her in the left photo. I'm passionate about the great outdoors. The mountains and forests of my home in Bend, Oregon are my playground, and I love to mountain bike and ski. I've been a professional artist for nearly twenty years, and one of the best things about it is learning to really see and appreciate the beauty of the world around you. And because life is full of not-so-beautiful things as well, a little humor along the way can do wonders (hence the silly "flip side" of my work). Hope you enjoy it! | ||
