"Jungle Red"
The Red Heliconia flower hides among dense thickets of long stems with banana-like dark green leaves. When you glimpse the fire engine red in the darkness, it's like discovering a hidden treasure in the jungle. The Day Gecko is often found lounging in the cup-like brackets of the flowers, something I've witnessed on more than one occasion. |
